Don and Alex Tapscott launched their book tour on Thursday at the Rotman School of Management. Toronto Star writer Oliver Sachgau writes about the event:

On Thursday, the pair launched the result of their first professional collaboration, a book on what they see as the next big change in technology, called Blockchain Revolution.

The two began a 10-city tour to talk about the topics in their book at the University of Toronto. Speaking to a room of business and technology leaders, both Alex, who runs Northwest Passage Ventures, and Don, CEO of the Tapscott Group and an expert on the intersection of media, innovation and technology, argued for how blockchains will change business, technology and the Internet. In his speech, the elder Tapscott compared the impact to when the Internet was first created.

The article continues further to explain the blockchain. It also gives examples of who would be interested in this book, and informs us about Don’s upcoming guest-editing of the Toronto Star for a special Innovation Edition on Saturday.
