The Tapscott Chair in Schizophrenia Studies is an endowment that facilitates cutting-edge research into how the environment affects schizophrenia genes, and how proteins in your brain could be the key to permanently treating schizophrenia.

The chair is currently occupied by Dr. Fang Liu of the University of Toronto.

“There is a pernicious notion that mental illness is somehow a flaw or failure in a person’s character, rather than a treatable disease. As a society we pay a very heavy price for this false perception.” – Don Tapscott

Together with his wife, Ana Lopes, Don works tirelessly to help dispell this stigma and further research to identify the primary causes of schizophrenia, with a research focus on epigenetics. To learn more about this important research and how you can help, please visit www.TapscottChair.com
