Trent University

From 2013 to 2019, Don Tapscott served as chancellor of Trent University.

“I’m deeply honoured to have been chosen to be the first Trent alum to become chancellor, particularly to fulfill these duties while the University celebrates its 50th anniversary. Convocation 2014: Address by Chancellor of Trent University Dr. Don Tapscott. “It’s my belief that with your Trent University education you have been uniquely equipped and prepared for the exciting future and the challenging future that lies ahead.”

Don Tapscott opened his Trent University chancellor lecture series on Tuesday by acknowledging that looking at how to solve the world’s problems isn’t a modest topic.

“There’s a fine line between vision and delusion,” he said, drawing some laughs from the audience of about 300 people at Market Hall.
